AWARDS, GRANTS AND COMPETITIONS
The Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR 2027) and the Congress of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society are committed to supporting the professional development of radiology specialists, with particular emphasis on the younger generation, promoting scientific research and clinical innovation, and strengthening international professional collaboration.
As part of the Congresses, a range of grants, scientific competitions and honorary awards will be offered to recognize the achievements of participants, support promising young professionals, and create new opportunities for scientific and professional development for participants from Uzbekistan and around the world.
1. Travel Grants
10 Congress participants will receive Travel Grants of USD 300 each.
Grant recipients will be selected by the Scientific Committee of AOCR 2027 and the Uzbekistan Radiology Society Congress based on submitted scientific work and in accordance with established selection criteria.
Priority may be given to young researchers and participants presenting original scientific research.
2. «Invest in Youth» Program
A special initiative designed to support young professionals and provide talented young radiologists and researchers with opportunities to participate in an international radiology congress.
10selected participants will receive: 2 nights of complimentary accommodation.
The program is intended to encourage the participation of the next generation of radiology professionals and facilitate their engagement with the international radiology community.
3. Best Oral Presentation Award
An award recognizing the most outstanding oral scientific presentation at the Congress.
Presentations may be evaluated based on scientific significance, structure and clarity, quality of visual materials, clinical relevance of the findings, and the author's ability to address questions from the expert panel.
Winners will receive an AOCR 2027&URC certificate and commemorative award.
4. Best E-Poster Award
An award recognizing the best scientific electronic poster presented at the Congress.
Evaluation may consider scientific novelty, methodological quality, clarity and effectiveness of visual presentation, quality of conclusions, and practical relevance.
Winners will receive an AOCR 2027&URC certificate and commemorative award.
5. Best Clinical Case Award
A competition recognizing outstanding clinical cases demonstrating particular diagnostic value, rare or complex pathologies, advanced imaging techniques, or innovative diagnostic approaches.
Special consideration may be given to cases demonstrating the role of radiology in treatment planning and comprehensive patient management.
Winners will receive an AOCR 2027&URC certificate and commemorative award.
6. Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Award
A special award recognizing innovative research and developments in: artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital radiology, quantitative medical image analysis, automated diagnosis, emerging medical imaging technologies.
The award reflects one of the key concepts of AOCR 2027 — expanding the boundaries of radiology beyond the traditional capabilities of medical imaging.
Winners will receive an AOCR 2027&URC certificate and commemorative award.
7. Honorary Member of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society
The title of Honorary Member of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society may be conferred upon distinguished specialists who have made significant contributions to the advancement of radiology, medical education, scientific research, and international professional collaboration.
Nominations may be considered by the Board of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society in accordance with established criteria.
8. Distinguished Contribution to Radiology Award
An honorary award recognizing an individual who has made a significant contribution to the development of radiology, scientific research, clinical practice, education, or the professional radiology community.
The award may be presented to distinguished international experts, professors, and recognized leaders in radiology.
9. International Collaboration Award
An award recognizing significant contributions to the development of international scientific, educational, and professional collaboration in radiology.
The award may be presented to an individual or organization that has made a substantial contribution to joint educational programs, scientific projects, professional exchanges, and international initiatives.
10. Audience Choice Award
Congress participants will have the opportunity to vote for the most engaging or impactful scientific presentation or e-poster.
This award will encourage active audience participation in the scientific program and provide authors with an additional opportunity to receive recognition from their peers.
Winners will receive an AOCR 2027&URC certificate and commemorative award.
11. AOCR 2027 Radiology Challenge
Radiology Intellectual Quiz
An interactive team-based quiz for participants of the Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR 2027) and the Congress of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society, focusing on radiology, medical imaging, clinical diagnosis, and modern imaging technologies.
The quiz will provide an engaging platform for participants to test their professional knowledge, demonstrate teamwork, and exchange experience in an informal atmosphere.
As a complimentary benefit from the organizers, participants will receive complimentary Congress registration, two nights of accommodation, an AOCR 2027&URC certificate, and a team cash prize.
The format, participation rules, team composition, and quiz schedule will be announced in the official Congress program.
