25th Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology & Annual Congress of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society
29 April – 2 May 2027 | Tashkent, Uzbekistan
The 25th Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology (AOCR 2027) and Annual Congress of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society will be a major international gathering, bringing together radiologists, medical imaging specialists, researchers, educators, and healthcare professionals from across Asia and Oceania and from around the world.
For centuries, Central Asia has been a crossroads where people, knowledge, languages, cultures, and ideas have met and flourished. The ancient Silk Road connected East and West, creating pathways for trade, cultural exchange, and the transmission of knowledge.
Today, this legacy continues in a new dimension.
For the first time, Tashkent will welcome the international radiology community, bringing together professionals from around the world in the heart of Central Asia. The city will provide a meeting place for professional exchange, scientific dialogue, and international collaboration.
EXPANDING THE BORDERS OF THE INVISIBLE
The theme of the Congress reflects the very essence of modern radiology - the pursuit of seeing more, understanding more deeply, and exploring possibilities beyond the boundaries of what was once considered diagnostically possible.
Today, radiology extends far beyond the traditional concept of medical imaging. Artificial intelligence, advanced MRI and CT technologies, molecular imaging, quantitative image analysis, interventional radiology, and personalized diagnostic strategies are rapidly transforming modern medicine.
AOCR 2027 will provide a dynamic platform where these developments converge through scientific exchange, clinical experience, innovation, and collaboration.
SCIENCE, CLINICAL PRACTICE AND NEW IDEAS
The Congress will bring together leading international experts, practicing clinicians, researchers, educators, and the next generation of radiologists and scientists.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in plenary lectures, scientific sessions, interactive discussions, hands-on workshops, challenging case reviews, oral and poster presentations, as well as educational formats designed to translate contemporary knowledge into everyday clinical practice.
Particular attention will be given to emerging areas of radiology and medical imaging, technological advances, evidence-based approaches, and the quality and safety of patient care.
AN INTERDISCIPLINARY DIALOGUE
Modern radiology does not evolve in isolation. Accurate diagnosis increasingly depends on collaboration among specialists from different fields, bringing together clinical expertise, advanced technologies, and complementary perspectives.
For this reason, the Congress welcomes not only radiologists, but also professionals from related medical specialties whose work is connected with diagnosis, treatment, and comprehensive patient care.
We invite physicians from diverse specialties, researchers, educators, young professionals, and representatives of the medical industry to join this interdisciplinary dialogue.
It is at the intersection of different disciplines that new questions emerge, new solutions are developed, and new possibilities for patient care become possible.
A SPACE FOR PROFESSIONAL EXCHANGE
AOCR 2027 is more than a scientific programme.
It is an opportunity to meet colleagues from around the world, exchange clinical experience, discuss new ideas, present research, build professional networks, and lay the foundations for future scientific and educational collaborations.
We aim to create an environment where professional interaction extends beyond the formal sessions of the Congress, and where new encounters can grow into lasting partnerships and meaningful international collaboration.
Young professionals will have a special place within the Congress programme. Their ideas, research, and professional energy represent an essential part of the future of radiology. AOCR 2027 will provide them with an international platform to present their work, receive expert feedback, exchange ideas, and establish new professional connections.
FROM THE INVISIBLE TO NEW HORIZONS
We invite participants not only to take part in the Congress, but also to discover Uzbekistan - its rich historical heritage, vibrant contemporary culture, remarkable architecture, distinctive cuisine, and renowned hospitality.
We believe that modern radiology is about more than the ability to see what is hidden from the human eye.
It is about understanding more, bringing knowledge together, asking new questions, and developing solutions that can transform clinical practice and improve patient care.
