WELCOME ADDRESS
Dear Distinguished Colleagues, friends and guests!
It is a great honor and immense pleasure for me, on behalf of the Uzbekistan Radiology Society, to warmly welcome you to AOCR 2027, which will take place from 29 April to 2 May 2027 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In 2027, the radiological community of Asia, Oceania, and the world will gather in the heart of Central Asia — at the ancient crossroads of the Silk Road, where people, cultures, knowledge, and ideas have met and travelled across borders for centuries.
Today, this tradition continues in a new dimension.
EXPANDING THE BORDERS OF THE INVISIBLE
This motto reflects the very essence of our profession. We strive to see what is hidden from the human eye, unlock new possibilities in medical imaging, expand the boundaries of knowledge, and together bring the future of radiology closer.
AOCR 2027 is not only about technology, science, and professional achievements. It is, above all, about people, communication, and collaboration.
Tashkent welcomes you not simply as congress participants, but as honored guests and friends.
In Uzbekistan, hospitality is not merely a tradition — it is an integral part of our culture and way of life. For us, welcoming a guest is a special honor, and opening our doors to share knowledge and friendship is a true joy.
We want your journey to Tashkent to be more than a professional visit. We want it to become a special journey that will remain in your memory.
We invite you to exchange knowledge and experience, inspire one another, build new professional connections, and perhaps even make friendships that will last a lifetime.
Beyond the congress, we invite you to discover Uzbekistan — the ancient streets of Samarkand, the magnificent city of Bukhara, the unique beauty of Khiva, and the modern, rapidly developing city of Tashkent.
From the ancient Silk Road to the future of medical imaging, Uzbekistan remains a place where people, knowledge, and ideas come together.
We are sincerely grateful for the trust placed in us to host AOCR 2027 in Tashkent, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Let us expand the borders of the invisible together.Let us open new horizons in radiology together.Let us create the future together.
We are waiting for you with open hearts and open doors.
